Dark body topped with a decent head. Mild malt aroma infused with some tea notes; caramel. Toffee, vanilla and caramel flavors , a smidgen of chocolate and nuts; brewed tea sneaking in at the finish. Medium body; some light sweetness overall, offset with some tea astringency.

This has been an interesting find for me as many of my favorite mild ales from the past aren't readily available (e.g., Epic's English Mild and Pikes Peak Brewing's Little London). The use of Earl Gray tea is a nice touch, not too invasive and seems to complement the rich, malt backbone. Good stuff...

I love this beer. It's definitely meant as a specialty beer, but I drink it regularly. You can definitely smell the earl grey, but the taste isn't overwhelming. It has a caramely taste underneath the earl grey, and I love it. Solid English mild ale. Its abv is a little low, but it's worth it.

wow, this is amazing, definitely the best beer i have had from these guys so far. an english mild with an earl grey tea, how clever and perfect. this base beer is the perfect choice for the tea, malt driven with a little bready density and then the english ale yeast in all of its glory. the tea is such a unique additive, and its not subtle in the least. unlike other tea beers out there, this isnt bitter at all, and is actually extremely floral and elegant, with notes of everything from red grape to vanilla bean to confectioners sugar, to lavender, to some strange jelly belly jellybean flavor my palate faintly remembers. i love that its as much flavoring the beer as the grain is, and think the ratio is perfect, as high as it is. the low abv beer is smart too, allows me to hammer these while struggling to try and make sense of it. i love the lightness, and the soft carbonation keeps it feeling english too.i have never had a beer like this, and its truly amazing. caution has been hit or miss for me most of the time, but this is a beautiful beer, unlike any other. genius really, im wishing for more right now!

Toasted malt start and then it falls flat. It does not have much of and ending and it is very thin.
