Look: Dark black color. Nice creamy brown head that slowly dissipates and then has light covering.
Smell: Lots of smoke, smoke dark fruits, malt roastiness, and hints of rum
Taste: Lots of smoke, and malt roastiness. Some rum but I wish there was a little bit more. Some boozy flavors.
Feel: Mostly creamy but a little watery at times. Light carbonation.
Overall: : good beer but I wish the mouthfeel was a little fuller and some more rum would be nice.

Rum barrel aged version of their Toaster Bat Black. 22oz bottle poured into a snifter. A bit hefty @ about $17.
Looks good for a porter, dark brown, a bit light comes through.
Rum comes through a bit on the nose, but the smoke still dominates. Flavor follows, mostly smoke only a smidge of the spiced rum.
Good viscosity for a porter. Finishes with all smoke.
Really I can barely taste the difference between this and the regular Toaster Bat.
Not a bad beer, but definitely not worth the jump in price.
