Appearance: Poured a dark amber brown in Tin Man goblet. Light suds, no trace of lace.
Aroma: Fruity up front. I can already tell this is going to be a strong and rich drink.
Taste: Tough and chewy. Hints of leather and high on the bitter side. A very strong brew, with overpowering sweet and bitter notes and a strong, dry finish. Actually a solid barleywine, but certainly one to savor slowly.
