Picked up this 4-pack (still in date) at a nice $6.99 price at Schnucks, and opened, coincidentally, on the evening Tin Man announced they were closing their Evansville pub/restaurant. Cool benefit for local public radio + TV station WNIN.
Appearance: Pours from the tall boy can a cloudy amber, with decent off-white head, but no lace.
Aroma: Malty up to the point of being almost sweet. Decent if unremarkable, and pretty faithful to the style.
Taste: Light body, even watery in feel, with a subtle and unassuming flavor and overly malty taste without much hops to balance. Almost no finish, this was so watery. By no means a great beer, and I had to work to finish it off, honestly, Great cause, inferior beer.
