Tapped a deep, dark ruby, nearly black. Minimal head, trace of lace.
Lightly roasty aroma. Not bad.
Body is light but flavorful, with hints of cocoa and coffee. Not really too unique or memorable, but Gearbox is very easy to drink, and my favorite of this brewery's current tap selection.
Solid session ale. No problem here.
