A Porter brewed with Truffles and Porcini Mushrooms. Black pour with no ruby see through, but there is clarity; thick two finger lite tan head; good cap retention with some lace. Spicy earthiness in the nose. Roasted malt and earthy beef flavors; the mushrooms impart a grilled meat finish. Dare I suggest umami? Medium lite carbonation and smooth dry toasty malt feel. Overall lite roast with long grilled beef linger - like grilled hamburger that was brushed with Worcestershire sauce. Different and very good.
