330ml pull-tab can from Pak N Save, Taupo.
Best before: 21/09/2023.
Served into a stem-tulip from my Youth Hostel's kitchen.
Hopped with Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra.
Sweet chili, lime juice, resinous hop character (Amarillo), floral hop flavour, caramalt, amber malt. Not tasting any pine from the Centennial or any mango. When I look for Vietnamese mint, I do find a vague herbal flavour but I'd never peg it as from the mint family if I tried this blind.
ABV is well hidden but I don't think the brewery nailed the "Asian food flavour meets Imperial IPA" profile they were clearly targeting. It's a drinkable beer, but a surprisingly forgettable effort from Garage Project.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet (Kvadrat or Nettbutikken). ABV is 7.5%. Orange to copper colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Aroma of mint, citrus and chili. Peppery flavour, again with chili, mint and citrus, not too sweet. Moderate but fairly distinct bittering hops.
