$11 NZD per pint on-draught @ Little Beer Quarter, Wellington, New Zealand.
Brewed with Southern X, Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin. "NZ Pilsner."
A bit of gooseberry from the Nelson and strawberry from Riwaka. Lemon Zest from Southern X, but no pine to my palate. Clean pilsner malts give it a crisp unobtrusive backbone, but I do find its mouthfeel a bit thin and weak in addition to being aptly light-bodied.
Very drinkable. Underhopped for an IPL but overhopped for a conventional pilsner. Still, it's a nice little lager with an interesting hop profile. Stands out from the other beers marketed as NZ Pilsner in that respect.
