A stout with coffee and orange peel, blended with four-year bourbon barrel-aged beer. Lots of linguistic imprecision here, I'm not sure if the barrel-aged beer is the stout or something else, or how much of the final product was actually aged in barrels for four years. In any case, it looks and feels nice but tastes a bit odd. The acidity of the citrus peel comes to the forefront, making the coffee a more subtle afterthought that eventually shows up to confuse me. The two flavors don't work as well together as, say, a chocolate orange or Jaffa cake does. Kind of fun, but not as well composed as I would have liked.
