375mL waxed bottle from the Garage Project cellar door in Wellington. I don't see many purely American style barleywines like this anymore, especially not at 10% and not barrel aged. Indeed heavily hopped, more akin to a Behemoth than a well aged 120 Minute IPA. Bright hop bitterness, hints of orange essential oil and florals. Not blood red, but a dark copper with a full finger of head and plenty of lacing left behind.
