From can, pours Pale gold fluffy white head. Aroma citrus, melon, grassy hops, toasty malts. Taste lemon rind, cut grass. Very crisp clean and refreshing. Worth a try.

Pours with a slight haze and a firm white head that lasts. Although billed as a pilsner it is by the brewers' admission their take, and nice for that. The mouthfeel is full and the hops are well balanced and linger for longer than one would expect. Grapefruit and lychee notes give away the American influence.

Format: a 100mL taster from the cellar door at Garage Project during Auckland Good Beer Week.

Appearance: pours out quite nicely - a crystal clear mid-amber with a small head that lasts. Sporadic lacing as the head sinks to a thick cap.

Aroma: the usual pilsner aromas of grassy hops, citrus and crystal malts. Clean and crisp.

Taste: again lemon citrus with grass hops and those malts. A nice, clean pilsner, if nothing out of the ordinary.

Aftertaste: some light bitterness accompanies the crystal malts. A nice sessional.

Mouth feel: a lighter body with a moderate carbonation.

Overall: a decent, clean and crisp pilsner, if nothing a cut above. I'm not sure if this is available commercially, as I could only find this at the cellar door. If it is similar in price to other Garage Project beers, I would say the price would be prohibitive.

Pours a filtered yellow with nice head and lacing.

Smell is nice slightly skunky hops. Fruitiness, sour lemon, general lager-y smells. Lemon jelly crystals.

Taste is bitter and sharp. More lemon and lemon jelly crystals.

Mouthfeel is again bitter and verging on iso-hop-py.

Initially reminded me of Harviestoun Schiehallion in a good way but as you get through the bottle the bitterness and one-note nature of the beer verge on cloying.

The large format bottle compounds the issue a bit but to be fair as a first beer of the night, I did finish the bottle in a timely fashion.

As it warms I enjoy it more and get more fruity notes from it.

Pours gold/amber with a fading white head.
Nose shows spicy and floral hops. Also some bready malt.
Pretty aggressive flavours. Very bitter. Some spicy hops and pine along with a soft grapefruit note. The sharp bitterness is overbearing.
Carbonation seems excessive.

Another offering from these guys and its a bohemian pilsner with German malts and hopped with American Summit hops and it pours a hazed golden yellow hue with a wispy one finger head and lacing everywhere, the smell is kiwi fruits, gooseberries, citrus and sweet malts, the mouthfeel is crisp, dry, well carbonated and medium bodied which really suits this and the taste is crisp and bitter with hints of lemon, lime, herbal earthy bitter hops,a nice cameo from the German malts to keep the feel real and finished dry and citric bitter abs overall it is was it is a nice take on a bohemian pils and although its not out of this world I'd buy it again cheers.
