Tight foam head but it dissipates quickly leaving a thin layer of minute bubbles on the surface. The liquid is light brown and appears clear.
Mild aroma without much “darkness” to it. Rather ordinary.
Thinner body with darker caramel flavors and a light barely perceptible hop.

Had on tap at Georgbraeuhaus in Berlin, poured into a stein.
L: Pours a deep clear amber with three fingers of creamy white head.
S: Minimal aroma. Mild malts.
T/F: Big and malty. Crisp with mild hop bitterness to clean up the finish. Slightly sweet at first. Smooth.
O: Very nice dunkel and a happy find in Berlin. Much better than average for the style.

Inoffensive but dull sums this one up well. Built off a pils base with just a little Munich malt, it is light, very mildly hopped and a touch sweet. It lacks any real interest to make this worth drinking again.

The second bier of the georg braeuerei was less interesting than the first offering. appearance was a dirty brownish one with a very very faint and sort of soury malt smell and an uninteresting, unsweet barleyness to it about the taste, with just a bit of burnt malt and a bitter, only bitter ending. ok, just not a 2nd one for me.
