Beautiful looking beer- lovely dark amber colour and a thick creamy head that lasts.
I taste some dried fruit, red beans, nuts and a bit of vanilla. I am not a fan of bitter beers and this was not too bitter at all. Has a nice, nutty aftertaste.

I had this beer directly at the brewer site. The Aux fous brassant, is located in Quebec province in Rivière du Loup. We have taste 5 beer, me and my cousin. The tasting glass are given to you in a 5 oz glasses.
The hurluberlue is a nice red brownish beer, a real nice color.
This one is more hop's pronounce than the Chien jaune.
The IBU is probably around 20-25, the color SRM is around 20 - 25.
The smell is like bark. The ABV is 5.0% and the 5 oz sell for 2.50$ directly at the tap.
If you pass in Rivière du Loup Qc. , don't miss this occasion..... a must.
