Very dark brown color with a thin caramel head with short retention.
Aroma with predominant mocha notes, some rye, hay, cocoa and tea leaves.
Flavor with notes of caramels, toasted and roasted malts, some rye spices, coffee, cola, molasses, orange marmalade citrusy and licorice. Dry and caramely roasted aftertaste.
Medium oily body with appropriate carbonation.
Sweet and robust porter. A bit overdone in the caramel notes. It reminded me of a better version of a Brazilian Malzbier. It could be better balanced by hiding its sweet notes. But it is not a bad beer.
