Black color with a thin beige head with short retention.
Light aroma of creamy chocolate, grains, vanilla and coffee.
Flavor of home made coffee, mild citrusy and lactic notes, a bit of cocoa and toasted and roasted malts. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness and roasted notes.
Light body with appropriate carbonation, actually a bit watery.
A plain Stout with bitterness probably coming mostly from roastdness, but it is very refreshing and not overly sweet. Probably given the body it felt a bit like a Schwarzbier. Great drinkability and not tiresome.

Pours pitch black, with a brown finger of head, good retention, and laces well.
The aroma is chocolaty, with some roast and brown sugar. Tastes as well of plenty chocolate and sugary roasted malts, hints of nuttiness too. Lingers with some chocolate notes.
Feels good, creamy, medium body, light on the carbonation
Overall, its a nice Irish stout, good body, and flavor.

I'm entering new territory here, a Brazilian beer served on-nitro. I was recommended this offering by one of the customers who was sitting near me at Hop'n Roll. Served in a half-pint, on to the beer:
Black color and a long lasting creamy head and lace? This is the nitro that I love and hate. The nose is pleasant and not too soft; chocolate covered espresso beans anyone? That makes me very excited.
Despite the nitro, this is pretty tasty. It's nicely balanced, not too roasty, offering up coffee and cream at the start. Cocoa and espresso notes round it out, and with a medium , very creamy feel, makes it all the more fun to drink.
Tasting different beers can be an adventure, as you never know for sure waht you're going to get. I wasn't sure how Klein Stout would perform despite a plea to try it, and now I must give my thanks to the guy who recommended this beer to taste. It's on par with many of the good American versions I've had.
