Acquired at The Beer Shop on Pitfield in Hoxton, London.
Pours a dark camel brown. Very clear. Exceptional color and quite pretty. Aroma is very light and faint, but you get the ever slightest whiff of caramel. Taste is ever so sour, quite smooth with that metallic taste that is hops and the hardness of the water emphasizing the hops. Caramel not really there, but a nice round, almost plain flavor. Goes down excellent. I'm really getting into British Bitters, and it's kind of sad that this is the last bitter I hand-carried from London. Excellent all around. Too bad I'm almost done...
