Golden color with apparent carbonation and a thin fluffy head.
Aroma of bready malt and herbal hops. A brief touch of pine.
Flavor of grassy and floral hops and grainy malt. Hints of minerals. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with medium carbonation.
Solid Pilsner, not bland, with appropriate body and a good load of herbal hops. It doesn’t have a differential, but faithfully follows the recipe. Medium drinkability.

600 mL bottle, thanks to DoubleJ,
A: Pours a clear goldenrod, some nice lace, good head retention.
S: Grassy for sure, nice noble hop nose, some bready malt.
T: More of the same, the nose and the flavour match up well. Grassy and floral hops with a heavy bready malt, hint of honey as Jon noted.
M: Light-bodied, crisp, clean, easy drinking.
O: Solid lager beer, this is a pils and I can see it, I enjoyed it.

That label of a man and woman in Alpine dress was the main attraction to my first purchases of the Bierbaum line. We now go to Bierbaum #2, the lager, which was shared out of its 600 ml bottle at Beachwood BBQ. On to the beer:
It's a golden colored lager which features a short head and spotty lace dotted around the glass. The nose is a mix of honey, dry bread crust, and even a touch of fruitiness that didn't really need to be there. And then we taste....a lot of sweet tasting straw. It starts off one-dimensional, okay, it's kind of is one-dimension all around, but the flavor is acquired and becomes more to my liking. Some graininess is thrown in for good measure. It's light bodied, and moderately crisp, and ends up refreshing. It may not be the most flavorful one around, but sometimes a cold refreshing one can hit the spot, and Bierbaum Lager was more than fair in that respect.
