Nice aroma of slightly toasted malt and floral hops. Notes of biscuit and caramel.
Flavor of toasted malt and floral and grassy hops, with some hints of spices. Aftertaste is dry and mild bitter.
Light body with medium carbonation.
It may not be as tasteful as other Irish red ales but it is still a good beer and can be a very good option when drinkability is desirable.

From a 355 mL bottle, thanks Jon,

A: Pours red, clear and clean look, good lace.

S: Red malt character, light toffee, biscuity malt.

T: Biscuity malt is the dominant flavour, good mineral character as well. Kind of like a beefed up Murphy's.

M: Light-bodied, crisp carbonation, easy feel on the palate.

O: Pretty impressive. Not the most widely brewed style in the world; this is well made and fun to drink.

Here's my second crack at Karavelle. Once again, my thanks goes out to Sergio for the bottle. On to the beer:

Looks like copper in a glass. ORange hues are present, and so is a reasonable display of head formation. The nose is a little up and down. There is a little bit of earth, also some caramel, grain, and some DMS.

Starts off alright, then it picks up steam and gets better from there. Vague fruitiness, touch fo earth...coffee? It's light bodied, with carbonation that has fair placement.

My first two tastes of Karavelle may not be the pinnacle of the exploding Brazilian craft beer scene, but both (Barba Negra and this Red Ale) have been more than fair efforts that are worthy of a purchase.
