A bump up in flavor from the common wheat beer or blonde ale, this rye is easy drinking and refreshing. With moderate rye flavor and light citrus and floral hop character. She’s a new American classic.

Easy drinking, and the rye gives a unique flavor that makes it stand out in a room full of blondes.

i hate to write about this one first, because my experience here was awesome tonight. i really see the potential in this one, but it seriously tastes like cleaner or sanitizer, its just not nice, and it throws what is probably a great recipe out of kilter. i mean, a rye based blonde with some caramel malt, we need these kind of beers out there, especially at a sessionable abv like this one, but its sloppy all the way. the rye is nice though, and there may be some oats in here with the pale barley malt. hops are light, and potential is high, but something clearly went wrong with the cleaning process or rinsing or whatever, its soapy and off for me, despite a nice enough body and carbonation, i just taste it forever after the swallow, and thats not good. everything else about is was nice, and all their other beers were solid, but this one needs a reset. i had a great time here and liked the joint, the other beers were way better though.
