Named for the Colorado landmark, this deep amber ale carries a rich bready malt character with notes of caramel, fruit, citrus and spice. Balanced by a clean bitterness and fresh hop character; this is a little session ale with a big attitude.

A couple of things I really dig about this beer. It's really hoppy for an amber, with a grapefruit finish to it and more bitterness than is average in the style, and it's also very dry, with none of the lingering sweetness you expect to find. Huge frothy just off white head on this, a ton of lace, beautiful pale Amber color.drinks light too, just a medium body is all, and it has very lively carbonation that keeps it moving. Malt base is light and fresh, not as caramel heavy as others, and the zesty hop finish is awesome. A really good, if a bit basic and introductory, brew for these guys, who are off to a pretty solid start on the whole.
