Slow pour from a 500ml bottle. Dark, cinnamon colour, with some haze, and a thin creamy head that leaves a sheet of lacing. Smell is of dark treacle with some spice. Flavour is a nice balance of rye and dark fruits with very little bitterness. Medium body. Smooth but spicy mouthfeel.
Drank this in June despite this being more a darker months beer. One I would recommend for an autumnal night. The rye is very pronounced...in a good way.

Pome, Rye, Bready, Biscuity
A leathery, ruby-colored beer crowned with a creamy lace. Aromas of caramel, rye, toast and apple skins. Light on the palate, with an even, leafy hop bitterness up front, pome fruitiness in the center, and a spicy, rye breadiness as well as a dry biscuity finish. Incredibly balanced, well-attenuated, and moreish. I could see myself having quite a few proper pints of this beer in London.
