From a 330ml bottle.
Pours a hazy, pale yellow, with no head, no lacing, and no carbonation. I know it's the style but, in truth, this is not an attractive beer to look at.
Smells of pungent, yeasty, lemon. Not unexpectedly, considering the style, there's also a trace of urine. Very distinctive. Should be disgusting...but it's not.
Light citrus and quite intense white wine vinegar. Again, this should not be pleasant...but it is.
Thin, slightly fizzy mouthfeel. The acidic finish is what it's all about.
This is a very low ABV beer with a big, bold attitude. It's quite refreshing at first, but the style is not sessionable. The intensity of the lactic acid builds over time. Arresting nonetheless.
