500ml Crowler from Brewdog.com (£2.50):
Pale amber to golden with a translucent body & a half centimetre, bubbly white head that ends up as a fine surface lacing soon after; not the best looking hefeweizen. Wheat, light banana & some cloves open the nose with touches of bubblegum & background spices, mainly pepper then more sweetness to finish. It's similarly sweet tasting with the banana & wheat again strongest, some faint orange/citrus & yeast make an appearance too but it's definitely under-carbonated for the style with only a slight fizz at the end on top of a medium body; quite an average beer in truth.
