Sant Corneli d'Ordino Indian [sic] pale ale.
6.40% ABV.
Bottle at the brewery store in Andorra.
Yeasty sediment is plainly visible in the glass. Tawny with Amber hues. It ain't much to look at. Obviously unfiltered.
Taste is poor; caramalt, acetaldehyde, green apple, and pale malts. Hop character is minimal and plain. Poorly executed.
Medium-bodied, smooth, wet, unrefreshing.
Basic quality control is needed here. This is a rather bad attempt at an IPA, lacking much hop character at all. Malt dominance would ruin it if the off-flavours weren't already.
D- (1.83) / AVOID

330ml bottle. Shaker glass. Deep amber color, veiled appearance. Yellowish & close froth. Lasting crown leaves a thin layer on top. Hints of caramel malts, candies & chocolate hues with floral notes to the nose. Toasted malt flavor & spicy touch at first sip. Light to medium body. Moderate to high carbonation. Oily to watery texture. Funny palate. Slight acetaldehyde flavor & soft astringency. Earthy bitterness lingers into a dry bitter finish. Bamberg touch on the aftertaste. Refreshing & easy drinkable.
