Bottle I brought to share at Retsinis' tasting.
This is the bottled version of Sunset Beer that contains Brett. The tap version is a separate listing and did not have Brett added.
Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Tiny chunks of sediment are seen floating around in the beer after the pour. Smell is of grain, citrus zest, barnyard, funk, and Brett aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, citrus zest, funk, and Brett flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of Brett bitterness and acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a high level of carbonation with a crisp and prickly mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that has a ton of barnyard and funk qualities from the added Brett.
Serving type: bottle.
