Pours a murky light orange with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain, dried citrus peel, earth, spice, and Belgian yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly tart citrus fruit, orange juice, dried citrus peel, earth, spice, and Belgian yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a higher level of carbonation with a crisp and prickly mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink despite its higher ABV.
Serving type: bottle.
