Nice orange yellow with great white head but fades fast.
Nose is floral spice but not real assertive. Inviting.
Great inviting flavor profile of spices and funk. Nice by itself and really good with food. Drinks crisp and dry with nice balance

On tap at Sweeneys Ale House in Encino, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, lime juice, dried lime peel, and slight candle wax aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, dried lime peel, and lime juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a lime presence that comes out more as the beer warms up.
Serving type: on tap.
