An excellent IPA hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Mandarina Bavaria, and Mosaic. Monkish comes out of the gate with their new canned IPAs and this is the first one? Well done.

Poured a very hazy yellow orange with a sustained two finger white head that left plenty of lacing. Aromas and flavors burst forth with citrus and tropical fruits before a slight piney bitterness presents itself. The mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy, like a wheat beer.

Poured from a can w/no date that I could find. Presumed to be pretty fresh as I believe it was a one off. Described as an IPA -- I got some Belgian funk in the nose and the flavor. Since I can find no info from the can or the Monkish website that the beer is supposed to be funky -- I rated it as such. I'm guessing this cross infection was not intended. Odd that nobody else has noted this character. Maybe it took a few weeks to develop.

Collaboration IPA with Other Half. Turbid straw color with dank, tropical aroma. Taste is juicy fruit and some well balanced piney hop bitterness. Smooth finish with more juice... really nice collab brew!

Can't believe this is being made in my own backyard here in Torrance, CA. This is an east coast style IPA collab with Other Half Brewing and you can really tell what they added to the beer. Absolutely fantastic
