Poured into an Ommegang stemmed glass. No freshness date.
A- Pours a hazy light amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a half sheet of surface foam. Not-so-resilient lacing leaves tiny clots behind and there are decently sized chunks of sediment floating in the body.
S- Nice punch of tropical fruit including mango, guava and passionfruit.
T- Great burst of fruity hops, solid bitterness and it's all held up by a surprisingly substantial body for a "session" IPA.
M- Pretty sharp from the hops with medium carbonation and a lightish body.
O- I like this quite a bit better than the Supa Dupa Fly I had last night. This actually has some bitterness that works well with the nice hop flavor and it's super crushable to boot.

This beer pours a cloudy bright golden color with a huge soapy white head with lots of white floaties. Retention is excellent and there are many hanging rings of lacing. Smell is awesome. Citrus, tropical and piney. Very grapefruit heavy with tangerine, pineapple and mango. Taste is the same with a nice bite on the finish. Feel is light (but in no way watery), crisp and crushable. Overall an awesome session IPA.

Ooooh, welcome to the NE IPA revolution. Pours a super cloudy yellow orange, with a tall, soapy white head. Smell hits you immediately. Tons of tropical fruits and citrus. Taste is a little more on the west coast style, with hints of sharp bitterness, but it's very subtle and it's ultimate, a very juice IPA. For a "session IPA", it's awesome. I could drink this all day.

Another great hazy east coast canned IPA from Monkish! 5% is pushing it for a session IPA but it is still a beer you could enjoy all day. Lots of flavors in this beer, pineapple and mango stuck out a lot for me. An overall great beer from Henry and the Monkish crew.

The turbid IPA craze has landed on the west coast! 1L1L is a good example of this east-meets-west dynamic. As a session IPA that clocks in at 5% it leans very much toward the bitter side; with notes of citrus peel and pine needles. The mouthfeel is fluffy and the finish is biscuity and almost has a salty taste. Tremendously refreshing.
