16oz can from Function PDX. Hazy yellow golden pour with a soft, thin white head. Tropical, juicy aroma, oranges, melon. Taste is fruity, juicy with a vein of hoppy notes that leave a dull buzz on the palate. Full feel.

L - Creamy, hazy yellow with a white head that sticks around and leaves some lacing behind.
S - Tropical fruit and citrus notes as well as hop bitterness, cut grass, onion.
T - Tropical fruit and citrus notes up front and throughout as well as hop bitterness but a really solid amount of earth to this one.
F - Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Creamy and juicy
O - A very solid NEIPA with a good amount of earth to the flavor profile

Looks pretty, but everything else is meh. Nose makes you think it will be good, but the taste left me disappointed. Smells like sweet fruit and green onions. Flavor is very earthy, grassy, and bitter. That's it. Bitter grass. Only hop I'm tasting is maybe the Nelson, but it's muted by everything else going on. Nothing interesting, nothing complex, just kind of bleh. Don't believe the hype, even Monkish can make mediocre beer.

Canned 05/21/18, ‘#MONKISHMONDAY’.
Pours a hazy golden yellow, nice and cold so only a small frothy white head of foam with minimal lacing around the glass. Poured into a Monkish Logo Teku.
The nose is a really nice balance of all the updated hops in the recipe (Nelson, Citra, Mosaic, & Galaxy). Lemony citrus, sweeter zest, lots of earthiness and grass to give an inviting aroma to this beer’s triumphant reimaged release.
Predominantly mild, but a similar profile to the nose. Lemon hits first, but a sweet malt settles on the tongue and quells the hoppy bitterness and earth that follows the citrus. Interested to see how this one warms.
Juicy, fairly light weight. Medium carb, but not too sharp. Finishes with a good bitterness; a nice crisp IPA.
