Appearance: Arrives with a cloudy honey color; the head is not very impressive and fades away rather quickly
Smell: Tropical aromatics of passion fruit, papaya and orange
Taste: The sweeter tropical fruits launch the flavor parade, with papaya and a hint of pineapple; towards the middle, the bitter tones of orange and passion fruit kick in to balance out the sweetness; the finish brings a return to the sweet side
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low carbonation
Overall: Terrific flavors in this beer but the carbonation needs to be amped up

The Nose:
Citrus. Papaya. Valencia Orange. A little pineapple.
The Taste:
Bright citrus at first toward the front of the mouth and bitterness of fresh hops. It mellows out toward the middle and back end. Low carbonation, could use more to move it along. Moderate to Good mouthfeel. Does not feel like an 8% beer (6.5%).
Overall:
Great new england style IIPA. Great nose. As for taste: Peaking at the beginning and fading on the back end.
4.5 Solid.

Beautiful bright golden orange, totally opaque, that has a finger of head with moderate lacing
Smells of papaya, guava, and passion fruit.
Full tropical fruit, plus sweet Valencia orange.
Low carbonation, a bit on the sweet side, but full mouthfeel. Citrus tingle finish on the edges of the tongue.
Another excellent DIPA from Monkish
