Appearance: Pours a cloudy honey color; got the New England look with a decent head that leaves shards of lace
Smell: Tropical punch tones of passion fruit, guava, pineapple, citrus peel and star fruit; vinous white wine grape tones
Taste: The sweeter tropical fruit tones of pineapple and guava arrive first, with the bitterness from the star fruit, the passion fruit and the citrus peel building; hints of white wine grape, through the middle; while the sweet tones underpin the back end, the finish is moderately bitter with some sharp aspirin tones in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; the oats create a creamy feel
Overall: The fruit flavors could be bolder and I never like the taste of aspirin but I really like the oat concept; great hop selection of Citra, Nelson, Mosaic and Simcoe
