Spicy vegetable, bottle shared by three East Coast natives. Came out like a Flander's Red. Needs more subtly still drinkable by us hardened palate fellows.

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a burnt orange color capped by an inch or so of foam; decent retention and splashy lacing
Smell: Caramel and herbal tones with a vague hint of Bourbon
Taste: Caramel and herbal cough drop flavors, up front, with lactic tartness building through the middle; red licorice and Bourbon tones build, after the swallow, bringing a puckery finish
Mouthfeel Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: An interesting brew but I didn't really care for the combination of the tart elements with the Bourbon
