Poured to a stemmed BrewDog glass. Canned at 26 of April 2017. Drank in September 18th, after 100 of being stuck in customs.
A: The body is bright yellow with a very dense haziness. The head, almost non-existent, is white and minimal. No lacing.
S: The aroma is very citrusy: oranges, grapefruit, tangerine and also some peach and melon can be felt. No big hoppiness.
T: The taste begins with a citrusy but very fresh and green taste that resembles a ripe melon. In the back, after the sip, there's a feeling of peach in the mouth that is quite good.
M: Body is medium to high. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is high and clean. Very dank.
O: First Monkish, I'm sold.

16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of citrus, grapefruit, a touch of garlic, and a hefty malt sweetness. Tastes of strong orange hops. Big sweet malt and light caramel. Garlic back end. Dries out a little. Medium body. Sweet, but pretty good.

vintage can from 4/26...acquired in an IP swap in the lot at tree house a week and a half ago. not bad but does.not live up to the monkish hype. more syrupy than anything but not too thick. probably much better a few weeks ago, but doesn't seem like the juice. pretty meh offering from a brewery that gets a ton of hype, but I have heard rumblings that this is pretty low on the monkish scale. take it for what it's worth, over the hill ipa tasting not so exciting. not bad, just not happening either.

Hazy orange. Smells like peaches, blueberry, and sweet orange. Beautifully mellow, sweet tropical fruits, peach, and more orange, almost honey-like (honeydew?). The flavor is pretty delicate for a DIPA. Fizzy, less body than other beers I have had from Monkish (watery?). Also "delicate."

Canned 4/26/17; drank 5/8/17 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque bright orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big eggshell head; nice lace.
Melon & grapefruit notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Melon & mild grapefruit flavors up front; mild cane sugar & faint ganja notes on the finish. No booze heat.
A nice melange of flavors; more muted than Monkish's best but very good.

Can dated 4/26/17 poured into a oversized tulip. Look is nicely hazed golden color with an inch white fluffy head that fades! Lacing almost rings the galss when consumed. Smell is whafs of both citrus and tropical fruits and light caramel malt. The taste is the same as the smell with some pines notes midway. The feel is almost fullbut not thick and chewy. Overall i dig this one from monkish, look forward to their other beers when i get the opportunity. Cheers.
