Canned 7/8/17, poured 6/23/18. I didn't have a chance to try it fresh, so I can't compare where it's at now to where it originally was, but I will say it's absolutely ridiculous that a beer that was canned nearly a year ago still tastes this good. Color is dense and opaque and looks like a mango/tangerine puree. Nose still has plenty of orange and peach. Taste has undeniable booze, but not in a bad way, just what you'd expect from something clocking in at 12%. The bite in the flavor is enjoyable, especially when backed up by the notes of citrus and sweet tropical fruit. Monkish magic + Evil Twin power = one impressive beer.

Really hazy bright peach color with a bit of off-white foam. Aroma has intense hops with fruity notes but also grass and harsh hop matter. Taste follows with intense hops, quite fruity and sweet at first but gets more bitter and grassy on the finish. Medium plus body, medium carbonation. For the high ABV it's fairly easy to drink and although triples are not really my cup of IPA, this one's quite good.

On tap at Himmeriget in Copenhagen.
Pours a murky, hazy orange with soft foam.
Massive tropical smell, pineapple and mango with hints of citrus peel.
Taste is overpowering. Very sweet and way too boozy for me. Hints of marshmallows and tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel is soft and heavy.
Overall, this is a weird one. It looks and smells great, but it is just too damn boozy, tastes almost like Aceton. Also a bit too sweet and heavy. By far my least favorite Monkish to date.
