16 oz. can dated 08/16/17
Pours cloudy hazy gold with a creamy white foam head. Smells like big passionfruit, pineapple, mango, lemon, orange citrus, grapefruit, melon, sweet caramelized bready malt, with dank floral resinous earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like big passionfruit, pineapple, mango, lemon, orange citrus, zesty grapefruit, melon, some sweet caramelized bready malt, with dank leafy floral resinous spicy earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy with moderate smooth carbonation. Overall a real nice IPA.

Canned 8/16/17; drank 8/22/17 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque yellow/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice bright white head; strong, frothy lace.
Melon, mango & mild cane sugar notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Dry pineapple & soft melon flavors up front; mild cane sugar & faint dry grass bite on the finish.
Quite sessionable & a bit thinner than I'd prefer, but the flavors pop on this. Another above average entry from Monkish.

My first ever canned beer from Monkish. Potholes doesn't disappoint.
This bad boy pours with almost no head, a beautiful hazy gold that has some cling to the glass. A beautiful looking beer.
Notes of grapefruit tangerine, and mild bitter hops greet the nose on this. Definitely a citrus bomb here, beautifully even and perfect prep for the taste.
Bitter initially, but an immediate transformation into a sweetness, similar to clementine. The back end hands you an expected bitterness that remind you that you are in fact drinking a beer. To even out that bitter feel are great notes of grapefruit.
This thing is freshly squeezed. Undoubtedly a product of Monkish, this is another home run single IPA that I would say was worth the hour and a half wait time. (Wait, am I supposed to admit that?)
