Canned 07/27/18, ‘CARSON’.
The pour on this beer is an awesome mango juice orange, completely hazy and poured to the brim with only a thin strip of bubbly head.
Sweet citrus and ripe pineapple burst out onto the nose. The sweetness in aromas from the tropical fruits even gives an almost vanilla sweetness briefly. Incredibly juicy, no hop bitterness or presence at all.
Pineapple and citrus again emerge first, but much more subtle than the sweet juicy bursts that came off the nose. The hops make themselves known, grassy and bitter; a perfect compliment to the initial citrus flavors. A light malt lingers in the finish along with a hint of mango and pineapple.
The mouthfeel on this beer is awesome. Fairly thin with a prominent carb level that hits pretty sharply. What I love is that it is instantly followed up with a creamy, juicy feel. Slight filminess in the finish but really nice overall.
