Collab with EvilTwin Brewing, a Pale Ale. A twist on the EvilTwin classic Hipster Ale, but with a Monkish makeover. We added a good dose of oats to soften the beer while keeping its dry and crushable slim hipster body. We kept many of its classic, retro hops and added some new school hops AND ... we double dry hopped it — or is that too obvious!? Hipsterish is a Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale w/ Nugget, Galaxy, Citra, and Cascade Hops.

Hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma is bursting with tropical fruits, sweet and juicy. Taste follows with intense hoppy fruitiness, low bitterness, orange rind aftertaste. Medium plus body, medium carbonation. An excellent, well balanced, really juicy pale ale.

Fresh from today’s Double Can release! A DDH Pale, hopefully as good as their last EvilTwin collab. Canned on 03/02/18, ‘IN N OUT’. 50th Monkish beer tried!
Pours with that perfect OJ orange hue, light head of quickly dissipating foam.
The nose on this is super juicy. Tropical mango, pineapple, and citrus, and just a hint of bitterness in the finish.
Milder than on the nose, but it’s got a ton of citrus. Distinctly a pale ale, with that heavy bitterness and lingering hop presence. Slightly muted, will let warm a bit, but this is a good Pale Ale.
The body is good, super smooth. Low but effervescent carb. Juicy.
