Really hazy with pale yellow color with a bit of off-white foam. Aroma is bursting with pineapple, elderflower, linden flower, overripe mango, really tropical and juicy with light dank notes. Taste starts sweet and fruity with tropical fruit juice, vanilla like sweetness in the background, more bitter and herbal on the finish. Medium plus body with medium carbonation. Another awesome IPA from Monkish.

Canned 03/07/18, ‘On the 7th’.

Pours a pale, hazy gold. Some nice foam builds up but doesn’t leave any residual lace around the glass.

The nose on this is a nice change of pace for Monkish. Bitter, grassy, floral, with some grapefruit, citrus peel, and pineapple. Good balance.

More of that floral, hoppy, citrus peel characteristics as found on the nose. Finishes with some good bitterness and a nice subtle grapefruity citrus.

On the thinner side as far as the body goes, but as this isn’t a crazy DIPA or TIPA, it works for this beer. Finishes sticky, goes down smooth.

So, perhaps it's just me - but is the Monkish rep just a bit too much versus the quality of the beer? I had expected multiple orgasms from this beer, given the matching glassware (the stemless glass that some are paying a hundred dollars for... nuts) and incredible reputation... but I only just found myself enjoying it.

On the 6 is a pleasantly bright yellow-gold in color with a nice white head. It smells very nice and juicy, and the taste is all thick, yeasty, rich hops. It's an experience, though not one that really stands out in memory for me. It's good, but doesn't make me touch myself, or immediately look for trade partners.

Pours a very light opaque yellow. Almost a bit muddy and sick looking if I can say that. I just did! Nose is mellow but refreshing. Light citrus on a pillowy bed of cracker malts. Taste of citrus peel with a light mix of floral and grass. Small but present notes of tropical fruit. There is a them here; the word light! I happen to enjoy this beer because it is light and refreshing. It’s not the usual hopped up double and triple IPA with the massive body of a Orange Julius. And just because I would describe the flavor profile as light doesn’t mean it’s flavorless. Medium to thin body with a crisp slight hoppy finish. Let’s be honest tho, Jennifer Lopez On The 6 might have a bit more flavor.
