Sweet tropical hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with a prominent citrus bitterness on the swallow. Good depth and feel...slightly over carbonated, but still very good!

From tasting notes 07/16/19
Had on-tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA
Appearance - Served up in a tallish snifter, opaque and orange in color with a thin, broken layer of surface suds. Fair lacing, with small patches, broken lines and spotting.
Smell - Tropical aroma. Juicy. Mango and pineapple, mostly. Lesser guava and orange.
Taste - Soft tropical notes that touch on mango, guava, pineapple, orange and a hint of passionfruit. Hint of floral character. Light cream sweetness hits in the finish, in addition to the tropical juiciness.
Mouthfeel - Great as always. Medium in body with moderate carbonation. Soft, creamy/velvety texture makes this a damn smooth drinker before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Another banger from Monkish. While there's not a lot of variance in most of their hazies (but who does?) There's no denying they do it as well as anyone out there.

Served from crowler.
L: hazy opaque yellow, zero clarify. About a finger of head with moderate lacing.
S: light smelling but ripe with citrus, melon, honey and black pepper.
T: big flavors of berry, citrus, mango and pineapple. Hop bite at the finish with yeasty after taste that meshes nicely with pineapple and citrus flavors that linger.
F: soft, full bodied with medium weight. Very smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of carbonation. Zero booze flavor.
O: another great DIPA from Monkish, and really implemented the Mosaic hops well here. Mosaic and NEIPAs aren’t usually my favorite, but it works wonders here. I am glad to try and would be glad to drink again. Cheers!

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Green Session. Aroma is herbal, grassy, dank, oniony and sweaty. Taste is hoppy, sweetish, tropical but balanced with medium dry bitterness on the finish.
