Hazy yellow with white foam.

Citra.

Same as the nose, pungentn Capri Sun, just citra with some bitterness on the finish that's got touch of soap to it.

Pillow-y, easy going, a little bit of bite might help

9/24/24 Batch! Sweet tropical hoppy and an orange-tangerine citrus-dank nose on this one! Smells like a dialed in OG King Citra from Fieldwork! Taste follows with an orange juicy citrus bitter swallow. This has a nice mouthfeel to it, but that head dissipates quickly...I think it could have used a little more body/heavier malt profile to carry the awesome use of Citra here throughout the swallow. It finishes a touch thin IMO, but still good!

This stuff looks like banana juice coming out of the can, and it doesn't change once it fills the tulip. It's an orb of pale, pale yellow--the color of banana baby food that's completely opaque--with an off-white foam head of moderate height that is very eager quickly to dissipate into a fluid surface, with the exception of a roiling circular microfilm right in the center. Visually, it's threatening...lol.

Very tangy and brightly citrusy, it's like biting all the way through an orange: zest, rind, flesh, pulp, juice and all. At the same time, it's a little limey and even tropical, like passion fruit. The malt becomes a little more noticeable on the third sip, bringing with it a touch of shortbread, but only mildly so, and lightly sweetening. The contrasting bitterness has a resinous, slightly aspiriny vibe, but isn't too cottonmouth acidic as many Monkish IPAs are.

The medium body has a silky firmness cut by a fine but prickly carbonation coming into a tingly, lightly numbing semi-dry finish, exhaling a little bit of what is either alcohol heat or hop burn. I think this being a month old is probably doing it a lot of favors, although I can't say for certain since I've not had it fresh.

My first drop of alcohol of any kind in two weeks and it's a palate destroyer.

Aroma and taste are bursting with orange, passion fruit, lime, guava and grapefruit. Pours opaque. Thicker looking than milk. Feel is soft, medium-heavy bodied and medium carbonation. Very drinkable.
