Opaque yellow.
Dunno if I'd call it nelson but smells fantastic.
Tasted these fresh and were harsh, chalky. Weeks later, that's all gone. Sorta tastes like Nelson, vinous in that way, No citrus, no grapefruit, and a little lacking.
Low carbonation works, IMO.

On tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA.
Man, I was really looking forward to this one after the hype it got. But like Kim Kardashian’s nudie film, your boy just ain’t feelin’ it. Like said visual art, it’s not bad, and I’ll finish it. But again, it just ain’t speaking to me.
It looks like a typical Monkish brew, while the nose was insanly juicy and all kinds of fruity. But the taste is a letdown. Slightly tropical, but it also tastes like dirty fruit. Like some San Francisco bum’s breakfast out of a dumpster, you feel me? It’s obviously not terrible, but that slightly dirty aftertaste kills it for me.
Peace!

Outstanding...this has sweet, juicy, tropical-hoppy, classic Nelson aromatics on this one! Fantastic nose...makes you want to pick up the glass just to appreciate it. Taste follows exactly with a beautiful, classic Nelson hoppy bitterness! It's almost a mixture of orange-citrus and white wine notes. It just sits on the back of your tongue and front of your throat...makes you swallow a few times just to savor it! LOL! This has outstanding depth and feel and feels great on the palate. One of the best all Nelson DIPAs I have ever had. Great!!!!
