Had on-tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA
Appearance - Served in tall snifter, hazy and faded orange in color with white, half finger head. Thin, broken layer of suds sit atop with a thick ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Picking up melon, with lesser pineapple, orange and mango or guava.
Taste - Follows the nose, but more smoothly blended. The Melon, pineapple, mango and orange notes are tightly woven. Almost like drinking a smoothie with hops.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of medium-bodied, with fair carbonation. Soft, pillowy texture makes this a stupid easy drinker before a slightly dry, warming finish.
Overall - Fuuu, the hype is real. Monkish makes legit ass hoppy beers.
