Good but not Monkish at its best.

Served from a crowler.
L: hazy golden yellow with zero clarity, being totally opaque. Per Monkish usual, this is a juice murk bomb by the looks of it. On the pour, about a finger of densely packed bubbles formed a ring that retained quite nicely. Moderate amounts of lacing appears on the glass, which is something I like.
S: smells dang good, and very citrus forward. Tangerine is the major player here, with other aromas of orange, pineapple and mango.
T: big tangerine flavor. Tangerine and pineapple are in the majority with lemon on the finish. Classic Monkish hop bite at the end with some pineyness, which is something that I suppose people could translate to a bitter green-ness. I think it tastes great, and I’m enjoying it.
F: awesome. Soft, fully, creamy and smooth. No booze presence for 8.0 and still a nice amount of carbonation even though it was in a crowler.
O: I’m enjoying this, which is no surprise from Monkish. If you like the tangerine/hop fusion, this is a brew for you. I am very glad to try, and would gladly drink again. Cheers!

From tasting notes 6/28/19
Had on-tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA

Appearance - Served up a tallish snifter, opaque and faded orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface, thickening up into a ring around the edge of the glass. Good lacing, with broken sheeting, lines and small spotting.

Smell - Citrus, mango, spice and a bit of pine.

Taste - Follows the nose to a tee. Citrusy with lesser notes of mango, pine and a fair spice bite in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Soft, pillowy soft texture before a somewhat dry finish.

Overall - Of the half dozen or so hoppy Monkish beers I've had thus far, this one would be at the bottom. Even then, its still pretty darn good. That says something.
