Had on-tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and mellow orange in color with a mostly barren surface and a razor thin ring of suds around the edge. Only a few small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Orange, lesser pineapple and mango, with a hint of floral character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Primary orange flavor with some pineapple, floral and mango qualities. Pith bitterness develops in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied with low-to-moderate carbobation and creamy as hell. Turns dry and slightly warming in the finish.
Overall - Pretty damn good. The bitterness on the finish reminds a bit of Revision's hazies, though Revision's beers aren't this creamy and smooth.
