L: pulpy orange yellow with zero clarity. About a finger of head with lower end of moderate in terms of lacing. I will say, despite the high abv, the amount of lacing is very pleasing.
S: Honey, melon, citrus and stonefruit with yeasty undertones. No booze bite on nose but slightly sweet undertones.
T: Tons of fruity flavor that resides atop a yeasty foundation. Orange, grapefruit, banana, papaya, mango, peach and apricot with hints of freshly ground black peppery. Grassy and floral on the finish with lingering flavors of lemon and lemongrass.
F: Medium in body and in weight. Soft and smooth for the abv, which is hidden exceptionally well. Moderate carbonation for the style.
O: I have heard great things about this one, and it lived up to my expectations. Can't say I expect much less from Monkish or the veil, let alone a collab between the both of them. I am very glad to try. Cheers!
