Time to unretire a beer up in here (up in here). Its also the rare review of a beer I had less than 24 hours ago. After a 6-2 Aces win, we headed over to Craft (Reno), as was the style at the time.
Pours a baby food beige color. Its not attractive looking. Makes a thin white head 1/7" maybe. The aroma wasn't a pungent dry hop, hop selections like Centennial and Vic's Secret don't do much beyond pine, but there is a light green pineapple edge to it from the Galaxy hops.
The taste pushes the Centennial hop as much as anything. Firm pine like bitterness in the mouthfeel. For such an ugly appearance, I thought this was be all hazed out smoothness. But it wasn't "juicy" but rather pronounced bitterness belied by the appearance. Just a light grapefruit and pineapple edge beyond that. Kind of a trip of a beer, just not the usual Monkish hazy execution. I like Centennial, it just seems like it wandered in off the street for this one yesterday. Definite green burn to it in the mouthfeel.

Hazy yellow color with a dense white head, the nose is all about spicy tropical fruit aromas, with loads of passion fruit, papaya, mango - and some pine, from the Centennial hops.
On the taste, the passion fruit, mango, and papaya are the alphas, and the pine is there for balance. What a pleasure to drink this hazy juice bomb.
