From tasting notes 12/13/19
Had on-tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA
Appearance - Served up 8oz into a snifter/tulip hybrid, opaque and mellow orange in color with a frothy, finger width head. Good retention before breaking down into a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Lacing is fair with broken webbing and small spotting decorating the glass.
Smell - Sweet and lightly sugary with vanilla, juicy orange and lesser tropical notes.
Taste - Follows the nose. Soft sugar cookie sweetness and a firm vanilla character sets the base, while the hops pop with orange, pineapple, guava and lesser mango. Nice acidic bite in the finish. Aftertaste lingers with orange, vanilla and cookie sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Soft, smooth and velvety creamy texture makes this one hell of an easy drinker.
Overall - My first trip back to Monkish in 5 months, and they have this great brew on tap. Space Cookies with an added vanilla boost? Yes, please!

Sample pour at SP Anniversary party. hazy, thick yellow with fluffy white head. nose is quite wonderful. plenty of hops but it does have a cookie crumb aroma to it as well. taste is much better than i thought it would be. mouthfeel is full from start to finish. quite surprised how good this is. not sure i would want more than 4-5oz as the cookie aspect is kind of rich but it’s way better of a combination than i thought it would be.
