On tap. Cloudy straw color. Strong aroma of tangerine. Phew…. This is funky. Tart tangerine and a garlic/onion strong funk. It’s got character, I’ll give it that. Worth trying.

From tasting notes 12/13/19
Had on-tap at Monkish Brewing in Torrance, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter/tulip hybrid, hazy and yellow-orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds. Good lacing, with small patches, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Green, piney aroma. White grapefruit. Hints of tropical fruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fresh, green pine upfront and throughout. White grapefriit. Hints of mango and pineapple, especially near the finish. Fair pith bitterness as well.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Nice, creamy texture before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Good brew, but not really looking for piney flavors in a hazy. As with all Monkish brews, the drinkability is fantastic.

Sweet, tropical and citrus hoppy, slightly dank aromatics on this one! Taste follows with the tropical and citrus notes up front. This has great depth and feel...well-balanced!
