Experimental Double IPA
A different sort of IPA. Hop supplier Yakima Chief Hops invited us to experiment with a new CRYO hop blend (Bio-T) that maximizes the fruity compounds in hops. We brewed a simple grain bill (2-row and touch of wheat) and went with a different, cleaner yeast and fermentation profile - all to allow the hops to express itself. And we used double the rate of the suggested amount. Resulting beer is a drier, lighter bodied DIPA with a smoother, refined hop fruitiness. Gentle and easy drinker. Something different for different times. Stay clean!
